The Essential Package
Two prenatal visits: 1-2 hours each to build a relationship, provide emotional support, discuss your birth intentions in detail, and address any questions or concerns.
Evidence based information: on labor, delivery, and postpartum care to help you achieve the best birth experience possible.
Hands-On Assistance: Techniques such as positioning, comfort measures, and relaxation methods.
Unlimited phone/text/email support from the moment you hire me.
24/7 on call support starting from 37 weeks until birth.
Labor Support: Continuous physical, emotional, and informational support during labor and delivery.
Partner Support: Guidance for your partner to be actively involved and supportive.
Immediate Post-Birth Support: 2 hours of immediate support after your baby is born. Ensuring and advocating for skin to skin and latching support.
Post-Birth Visit: A follow-up visit within the first week to discuss the birth experience, provide postpartum care tips, and support breastfeeding if needed.
Continued support for 4 weeks after birth (by phone / text / email) to answer questions about your postnatal recovery and/or care of your baby.
Back up Doula guaranteed: Phone or email support for any urgent questions or concerns.
Local Referrals: Connections to additional services like lactation consultants, pediatricians, and support groups.
Personalized Birth Plan Support: Guidance in creating and refining your birth plan to align with your preferences and goal

Janessa is a dedicated and ambitious student in her second year of junior high school. Passionate about family and community, she consistently seeks opportunities to expand her skills and make a positive impact on those around her. With two years of babysitting experience, Janessa has provided educational, nurturing, and supportive care to young children and toddlers, working closely with families to meet the unique needs of each child.
Recently, Janessa has expanded her experience to include sibling support services, designed to help families who are preparing to welcome a new child. Her role focuses on supporting older siblings, ensuring they feel cared for and included during this important transition. Janessa's approach is both compassionate and professional, helping families ease into this new chapter with confidence.
She has also completed a leadership program at Ottawa University, where she honed her skills in supervising children’s summer camps, managing group activities, and facilitating sports. Alongside her leadership development, Janessa has attained her First Aid and CPR B certification, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children she cares for.
